Corporate Vision, Inc. Acquires Partial Ownership of Internet Software Company
TULSA, Okla. and ST. LOUIS, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Corporate Vision, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: CVIA), of Tulsa, OK, is pleased to announce the
completion of first round financing for Internet software company
clickgarden.com, Inc., of St. Louis, MO. The financing consisted of a stock
swap of 250,000 shares of Corporate Vision, Inc. common stock in return for
900,000 shares of clickgarden.com, Inc. common stock. As a part of this
agreement, Corporate Vision, Inc. has retained the option to complete an
additional $2,500,000 round of funding within 90 days of this agreement.
The PC-based Internet software created by clickgarden.com, Inc. is in late
development stage. It will be freely and widely distributed to both consumer
and business users, and will greatly enhance many of the most common Internet
Surfing activities, in addition to providing many new and highly-desirable
benefits to Internet Surfers. The software also embeds many e-commerce and
traffic-payment relationships in a convenient, easy-to-use manner.
Commissions on e-commerce transactions, and "per-click" payments for Internet
traffic, will form the backbone of the revenue generated by the
clickgarden.com software. It is anticipated that market-leading merchants and
vendors in every category of e-commerce will be included in these
relationships. Users will have the opportunity to highly personalize the
nature, content and style of the e-commerce links appearing in each copy of
the software, so as to provide an "exactly right for me" environment.
Additionally, an opportunity to participate in rebates and other forms of user
incentive programs will be included.
Chief among clickgarden.com's features are the ability to easily capture
any parts of any Web pages, organize the captured pages or parts-of-pages into
coherent permanent "collections", apply compression and encryption as
appropriate, and subsequently review, search, modify, share, print, or email
these collections. If the recipient of a shared or emailed collection does
not already have the clickgarden software, a simple click by the sender will
cause a complete copy of the software to accompany the shared or emailed
collection.
