about this announcement was the fact that it has not come across the Dow Wire. I would think that this news would be worth announcing to the market. I might as well give my theory, for what it's worth, on the "Bre-X Files". If DeGuzman is in fact still alive, the only scenario that one could draw on these bizarre events that are unfolding before us would be that deGuzman had one of two choices to make: he could disappear and take up life in the Amazon (he has lots of green stuff anyway) and a substitute body would be thrown out of the helicopter or he could be thrown out of the helicopter himself. It probably didn't take him long to decide which option to take (if in fact he is still alive today). His apparent suicide would give substance to the "salting" theory which would then cause the share value to "plummet" until such time that the "disappearing" gold suddenly "reappeared" again but this time in the hands of the "mystery man" who has been accumulating shares at todays "bargain basement" prices. Once all the gold has been found, the share value is again restored to its previous levels and the shareholders, who held on to their positions during this roller coaster ride, are again happy. A new geologist is found for the company and life goes on.....Walsh is in the Bahamas enjoying his retirement, deGuzman has found himself another 4 wives and the whole world is perfect again.......<g>
