GV,

Clearly the big spike in DRAM prices occurred more than 2 weeks ago, not last week as DELL maintained last night. I
think that they're now making up an excuse because they failed to warn analysts during the meeting a couple of weeks
ago. Back then, I think that DELL thought that they could get lucky and pull out the quarter. Now, less than 2 weeks
before the end of the quarter, it is apparent that they cannot.

Now that's a pretty fair country piece of reasoning, I would say. Dell seat of the pants guidance methodology. You don't think much of them, which opinion I wasn't aware of. Thanks for being frank, or straight. Back to the DRAM feast or famine syndrome, far be it from me to figure out why it has to be that way, i.e., feast or famine for DRAM, with all the superpower semiconductor companies that are into it. What is up with that?

Tony
