HCL Infosystems acquires Singapore firm hclinfosystems.com NEW DELHI, Oct. 19 (BL) HCL Infosystems Ltd has acquired FEC Singapore Pte Ltd, a systems integration and software development company... Announcing this takeover, HCL Insys said the move was expected to net over Rs. 50 crores in the next 12 months. The acquisition was another step taken by the company in mapping out a long-term growth path based on the high value-added IT services sector, it said. FEC Singapore is engaged in the execution of large turnkey projects in systems integration and high value specialised IT services. It has operations in Singapore and in the Malaysian Multimedia Super Corridor. The President and CEO of HCL Insys, Mr. Ajai Chowdhry, said: "Our plans to extend the range and reach of services during fiscal 1999-2000 include both organic growth as well as through acquisitions.".....
