Thanks, and sorry I took so long to answer. KJV of the Bible, eh? Pretty good. Though I must restpectfully disagree w/you as to its accuracy, it is pleasant reading. When I said 'especially those of the NT', I meant exactly what you said about sinners. I apologize for misreading into your post. If that's what you mean, then I agree w/you. As for the speaking in parables, I ask you: (catch 22?) how do you teach children morals? Exactly right, stories. Jesus Himself says that unless you become like these children... etc. I have to admit that I like that idea. Childlike, not childish, should be our approach to God. After all, we are His children. Good Ole ST. TERESE OF THE CHILD JESUS was always a strong proponent of THE LITTLE WAY, for little souls. Smart saint. |
