Chuckle. Very good. Won't touch it, however.
Apart from saying that Kent Johnson, CFO at PharMingen and a Harvard MBA, was capable of doing the work of any three men, and walking at the end of the day with a good attitude.
Hey, if there are any VCs out there that are looking for bright, hard-working guys..... Kent Johnson, PharMingen (now a division of Becton Dickinson) CFO. Glenn Nedwin, too.... ex- of Genentech, Molecular Diagnostics (Bayer), Incyte's precursor (Ideon?), and XOMA....... last I heard he was CEO of Novo's industrial enzyme sub in Davis...... he's another candidate for best of class, and he's a Harvard MBA. Of course, the Ph.D. in Molecular Bio doesn't hurt.
Jeff..... I feel that a discussion of a "given" educational background, in the context of management skill sets, is a big mistake. Quite impressed by Maderis thus far, and yesterday's deal is a windfall for GZMO. Henri is treating the sub just fine. |
