Let me make sure I understand.

Previously, they were testing to determine if their vaccine would be effective against pre-cancerous changes in the cervix. Now they are testing whether it will be effective against fully active cervical cancer. This is good news as it indicates there is evidence it is effective against early stages and they now want to determine if it will be effective during later stages.

Is this a fair statement of the facts?
