Matey

In doing DD I normally call the Prez. and every director/officer I can get on the phone. The last person I usually want to talk to is the IR because he will usually give you the least amount of information. However the IR's are often the only people you can get on the phone unless you tell a few white lies. I will also call their business partners and anyone else who may have some information. When I am putting money into a company for a long term investment I want to know everything about the company....not just the stuff they put in their news releases. Normally I do a bunch of DD before I call and have a list of tough questions....I just don't call and say "what's new".

On the flip side...for day trading I may do a grand total of 5 minutes DD on the stock but in that case I will never hold overnight.

Best Regards
KEITH
