Andy, I think the Seahawks will be a team to be reckoned with in the future. As for this season, I see them being a 8-8 team. However, if they had Galloway in there, 10-6 would not be out of the question. He is a HUGE loss to that offense.
One thing about the NFL, you will not win a championship without a quality backup QB (example: Denver last year with Brister subbing for Elway). I think Miami has found one in Huard, although one game does not make a good backup. But then again, sitting on the bench watching one of the all-time greatest QB's in history and learning from him has not hurt.
Talk about a team player.....did you see Marino on Sunday? Instead of going and taking the day off, he was right there helping Huard the whole time.
I would like to see Marino take this week off, rest the arm and be ready for Oakland the following week. Miami can beat Philly with ME playing QB....LOL.
But in this wacky NFL season, it's hard to really tell who is the dominant team. I can't figure it out.....and don't want to. But based on what I see so far, Miami is the best in the AFC and the Rams are the best in the NFC. Ya know something?.....nobody is really talking about the Rams defense. I knew they were tough, because Miami played them last year, but they didn't have an offense. Looks like they have what it takes, although I do question their schedule.
Take care.
