What I am trying to say is that in India the political process and the national psyche are undergoing an evolutionary process. You are blind to the time factor that is necessary for changes to take place.

I presume that the above is the core of your argument. Let us take the last 5 years, for instance. Do you see any signs of change for the better? No doubt five years is not long enough to set right whatever went wrong in the previous 47 years. But it is certainly long enough for people to see signs of change. Or at the very least, since you are talking of it as an evolutionary process, signs of attempts to change.

The article I pointed to, amply demonstrates that not only is there no change for the better,and not only is there no attempt to change things for the better, but in fact, the changes are for the worse!
