Hi kathy... "Blast" is not exactly the word I would use to describe this place but I am making the best of the situation! I am actually here on business first then pleasure but pleasure sometimes gets in the way on a sunny day. The hotel scene here is quite frenzied with many conventionairres (sp?) filling up the lobbies and hotel restaurants and bar not to mention the pool area during the day. Nice thing is there seems to be a few Europeans around so I am getting my view of nice little speedos (if you know what I mean) when I happen to be at the pool for alittle R&R but the Internet connection in the guest media room is shabby at best and the hotel room connection is even worst though I dont want to be in my hotel room here when the sun is shining. I am actually here doing some inventory and checking out the fashion lines for our store here (I am a partner now in 3 stores 1 here and 2 in Southern Cali). But I am spending quite a bit of time outdoors too mingling by the pool and of course checking the market when I can. Have to go make some calls then catch some dinner. Later, but it looks like the market should rallye tomorrow as the futures are wayy up presently. Hope the volcano dont erupt here overnight. Jane
