Slightly biased?

The Wall Street Journal recently published an article stating that AMD's "Sledgehammer" CPU would be "incompatible with software designed for Intel processors." In reality, AMD's chip is designed to run all of the software in use today while Intel's next-generation chip is not.

WSJ's editors responded to my inquiry that the author meant to say that AMD's future chips would be incompatible with future software written for future Intel chips. Despite agreeing that the article said something entirely different, they didn't feel that a retraction or correction was in order.
