Signal Technology California Operation Awarded $2.4 Million Digitally Tuned Oscillator Contract

DANVERS, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 20, 1999--Signal Technology Corporation (AMEX:STZ) today announced that its California Operation has received awards totaling $2.4 million for F-16 radar warning and jamming digitally tuned oscillators from Microwave Electronic Systems Inc. (MiKES) based in Ankara, Turkey.

Deliveries, which began this year, will continue through early 2001.

"We are very pleased to work closely with MiKES providing sophisticated microwave subsystems for this critical application," said Robert Schlaefli, president of Signal Technology's California Operation. "It affirms our position as a key global supplier of high quality defense electronics."

"Microwave Electronics Systems Company has awarded Signal Technology Corporation in excess of $13 million in contracts in 1999."
