One reason flash memory will figure prominently in cellular/pda devices is the non volatile nature of the memory. For instance...oops, my battery just went dead...good thing my info is all stored in my flash memory card....sure would hate to re-input all of that info....after I get home next week from my road trip!! ragingbull.com
