Yep. Just a replay of the old client/server database implementations. First the existing management tries to do it on a small budget with in-house staff... next the massive failures... finally everybody "bites the bullet" and decides they have to make a real investment in technology and people. The problem is, in this case, this stupidity is causing loss of market share to new upstarts which will be almost impossible to recover.

E-toys actually has pretty stupid management, I predict they will fail at some point...don't know when though...
