This is what Briefing had to say an hoer ago, so there's a lot of 6 of this, & a half dozen that! When it goes, however ....
11:00 ET Dow +60, Nasdaq +44, S&P +11.04: Market has lost some zest with most stocks pulling back from opening highs... Advance has also become more limited in scope as the S&P 400 Midcap Index (-0.3%) has turned negative while the Russell 2000 is basically unchanged for the session... Breadth, in fact, is negative on the NYSE and favors advancers by a slim margin at the Nasdaq... Weak market internals coupled with the striking underperformance of the DJTA (-57.10) and the DJUA (-1.03), and the negative tone in the bond market, are not doing much to build confidence in the market's ability to sustain a rebound effort for very long... Not that it can't end higher today, but that said, the near-term outlook remains pretty bothersome.
>>>Could've should've stayed long LCOS but still feel ok of taking quick profits.
Stefan, I just sold ANCR for 2 points - thinking ok this time I'm not going to wait to see if it gets (up) thru that resistance - & guess what :-) however, I never do this! (except when wrong, & of course when right at letting them run, which i also sometimes am, one can make a tidy sum)
Dorothy
ps it's hitting another resistance & is overbought (but if it gets thru that one..), so will see. I usually don't trade things twice.
