I didn't? Thought I did, but I don't feel like going through all the trouble of looking for a response that may or may not be buried in the vast multitude of posts. Basically, we're going to disagree with each other yet again. I support the right to legally own them. I have no qualms with the Brady bill legislation, I'm not so paranoid as to believe it's just a plot to make a list of all registered gun owners to be targeted by jack booted government thugs to bust in and confiscate them. The libertarians can worry about that. I've been shot at by gang members on more than one occasion, and still am not shaken by gun owners. But then all the registered gun owners I know haven't shot at me, either. Personally, I don't own any nor do I feel the need to. Hunting? Couldn't bring myself to shoot anything out of sport. In defense of my home? That's what my wife's 6 overprotective house dogs are for, eating would be attackers (at least that's the excuse I've come up to keep from blowing a fuse each time she takes in another stray...). Still, I know women who carry them for security reasons, and I don't blame them. One in particular is still alive because of hers.
