More on the older of the two SS numbers belonging to a person Dorian Reed who had an address near Rancho Cucamonga in 1996.

We know that this SS number was issued in CA between 1934 and 1951.

To get a better idea of when this SS number might have been issued, I used ancestory.com to check the social security death record database for the 16 consecutive SS numbers immediately before and after this one.

It turns out that 55% of these peers have died. They had birthdates in the years ranging from 1890 to 1914, with an average of 1904.

I believe that the last four digits of an SS number are issued consecutively, and if so, that indicates that this person applied for a card on approximately the same day as all those other ancient persons.

As for the particular number associated with a Dorian Reed whose address in 1996 was in two different retail locations in the Rancho Cucamonga vicinity ...

... well nobody with that number has died.

Questions I can't answer:
Could this person be collecting social security payments?
Has he finally paid his state income taxes?
Does he have more than one social security number?
