(NASDAQ: MLTX), the Internet's largest interactive community of investors, brokers and analysts, today reported results for the third quarter ended September 30, 1999. The third quarter financial results reflect the consolidated results of Multex.com, Inc. and Market Guide Inc., which Multex.com acquired in September. The acquisition was accounted for as a pooling of interests. Accordingly, Multex.com's financial statements have been restated to include the results of Market Guide for all periods presented. Revenues for the quarter ended September 30, 1999 increased 96% to $10.9 million versus $5.6 million in the third quarter of 1998.
