Jeff, like everyone else, I don't know ANYTHING, and am happy to admit it. My good friend, Dave B. has pointed out here that the "once burned, twice shy" school of investing would require a person to be pretty careful before stepping into the Rambus waters again (Unclewest is right - I am the King of the metaphor). Monday is an important day for Rambus....and it is a day out of their control. Intel is calling the shots and any time a Company's well being is in the control of another company, even one as apparently benevolent as Intel, it also is a reason for caution. Hey, don't think for a minute that some Rambus insiders weren't stung by the Camino situation...which may not have been under Rambus' control.
