GG and thread -

Well I also tried the G* phone in the indoor stand and in the tented area. All my calls were perfect. Indeed much better than the average that I have to put up with using my GSM crap.

I tried wandering around and changing direction during conversation. Everyone must have thought I was a little drunk but I wanted to see how movement affected the calls. It di affect it but not so that it made an material degredation in quality.

I called my son in Beijing. Figured that would be interesting. The G* lady and I sort of dialed it together and although I didn't time it with a stop watch it didn't feel like 30 secs to go through. Quality was terrrific.

In fact thinking back on it there were quite a few people on both days I visited the stands who were simply amazed by the quality all were trying the phones. I didn't see anyone calling the demonstrators to say they had a problem.

So far as commerical launch is concerned in my opinion they will get this thing off and running and do it well. If it takes and month or two so what...they will get there and they will get there well and it will be good. They are all keen and champing at the bit to get going.

Best regards,

L
