Actually, the Qtr didn't look bad at all.

Things were pretty much in line where IBM has been telling us they would be. Hardware sales off in the second half, Y2K concerns slowing IT spending. After the 1st half blowout, I think the stock ran too far too fast. I also think there will be a short term overreaction and sell off. For the long term investor, the next several days will be a good opportunity to buy the stock at a reasonable price. The year 2000 will start to reflect the IBM strategy. Look for more OEM deals with continued strong growth in its E-Business products.

If the stock bases at 100, good entry point, but it could go lower. Things should play out over the next 2 to 3 days. JMHO.
