Plus IBM sells a lot of midrange and mainframe hardware and software. Anybody who works in the corporate I.T. environment can tell you that no money is allocated for fourth quarter this year to purchase new hardware or software. There is a complete freeze out until after the fallout from Y2K is dealt with. Signing a liscensing agreement with Microsoft is a no brainer though, because what else are you going to do? Replace your NT network with Linux? -g-
