I am very interested in the satellite sector, but have a ways to go for full understanding. I guess we all never fully get it.

I think we could be looking at a company that in 12 to 18 months has a client list that would be the envy of wallstreet. Much like EFNT who has a great client list. However, there is much competition in the router space, whereas NSATF has a strong position in this space and is recognized as a quality producer of LNBs. Most LNBs for the satellite TV market are low cost, low quality, good-enough product for the DTH market. The Ka band demands a quality product, and NSATF has it. NSATF is in bed with Nortel and Motorola. Both were in the running for the contract with the SES in Europe, and Nortel got it. Word has it that NSATF was the ODU of choice for both. It was a win-win for NSATF. Now that Asiasat is headed for the Ka band, and knowing that the SES has a solid stake in them, I hope that means more business for NSATF. I know that Hyundai Electronics is also a big player for ground station equipment, as is Alcatel. I do not know who they use for the ODU. Hyundai Electronics was selected by Koreasat to provide the ground stations. I suppose in the next few months, Hyundai Electronics may announce a provider of the ODU. If it is NSATF, that will mark two major areas of the globe and the first two rollouts of two-way Ka band to use NSATF. That is certainly getting out of the gate with a flurry.
