I think the Real Estate market has already peaked in my neighborhood, here in Indiana. Houses are not selling- It is only a matter of time before they lower their prices. Some trends may not start on the coasts. <g>

I'd like to hear if anyone sees their local real estate markets falling. This may sound simple minded, but a big clue to spot the back side of the top is to check the yard signs on your way to work or wherever you travel regularly. Lots of signs staying in the yards for extended periods is a give away. Lots of empty commercial space is another. They go hand in hand. We could possibly spot the beginning of a nationwide trend if enough people responded.

The great Fed that saved the world will ultimately bring back inflation in a BIG way. They probably won't tell you about it though. I will be snapping some cheap real estate up with the cash I've saved and earned in the stock market. Also plan on cashing in a bond fund soon. I think you definitely have to sell the rallies in bonds as well as stocks now, BWDIK. I do like metals, and will be buying them on rally starts.

PS- There's been more money lost in real estate speculation than everything else combined, including stocks.

regards,
TW
