Profit drops sharply at PeopleSoft cbs.marketwatch.com PeopleSoft sold just one-third the amount of software it did a year before.Earnings dipped to $5.2 million, or 2 cents per share, Once again I still think with the maintenance contracts it should make them some solid profits. What I'm waiting for is if they have bought back some share like the 1 million. This will once again tell me that they are on track for the 35 to 40 mil profits which is in the low $0.60/share. Crossing my fingers for that announcement. JMHO Mike
