All, For a strawman, here's what I did for a MP composite for the top 10 NDX stocks... sum of ( closing value of each NDX10 * its weight ) -vs- sum of ( MP of each NDX10 * its weight ) Current NDX10 is MSFT CSCO INTC WCOM QCOM DELL NXTL SUNW GBLX ORCL based on mkt %-age as published by Naz site here's the output for today: Q weighting 4061.74 (10) MP weighting 3848.75 (10) so for today MP composite is less than closing quotes. (ignore the '(10)', it's a visual checksum for my data) any and all comments, etc. welcome. if you're still contemplating your own weightings/formulas, send 'em in.
