John,

You're looking at DELL's price action without context to the market in general, and the Nasdaq and NDX in particular. With DELL's high beta and valuation the stock will exaggerate any market move. Throw in the repeated corrections we've been having it is no surprise that the price has come down from the previous earnings period, look where the market is. Then throw in the Taiwan earthquake, the general disfavor the hardware group is in, and you'll realize that the recent stock price action is NOT a DELL-specific problem, which the bears refuse to acknowledge. Not sure what you meant by what 'Edamo says...' but please keep in mind the context when analyzing DELL's price action. For a long sustained move upwards the market has to cooperate, since a heavily shorted and traded stock like DELL cannot operate in a vacuum.

Best Wishes,

Sam
