I have actually been saying for some time that spending in the tech sector was going to get hit due to Y2K lockdowns, so this was not unexpected. I do think that this will be a great buying opportunity...in December. One of the affects of the decreased spending due to Y2K is that it will create an incredible amount of pent-up demand going into the new year. Q4'99 will suck, Q1'00 will be phenomenal. IMO of course.
