I think I've found something more difficult than renting foreign movies. Try buying foreign fruit trees. I've discovered a craving to plant the French cerises they use to make kirsch. Fat chance. At least so far on the net. There is a big company called Stark Brothers whose way of puffing their wares is to tell you that it makes really, really big and showy fruit. Big f'ing deal. What does it taste like? That's not important, you see.

And not much else. A few companies in California that sell tropical trees, a few companies in Washington State that sell prolific cultivars for commercial growers.

There is a Dutch company on the web that sells everything, you can even access its website in almost any language, including Afrikaans, but they appear to only sell wholesale.

I guess all the little guys either went out of business, or maybe they aren't on the web, yet?

I refuse to admit defeat.
