CNBC "Gold in Them Thar Hills" Clip on at 2:50PM today.

Looks like we're getting noticed a little more.

Anyone see CNBC's Washington correspondant Lisa Myers clip on the California land issue?

[Doing this from memory. Maybe there is a way for us to get the full content of this from cnbc.com or something (?).]

Seems like they're trying to start some tax belly-aching issue.

The clip opened showing what appeared to be desert views and how land could be claimed for some $1,750/acre out there. Also mentioned how permits could be issued and if precious metals were found on the land how this land could be purchased for $5/acre. Don't know if this just referred to CA land or all the DDs lands.

Someone Myers had quoted/shown said something to the effect that some age-old US laws still allowed these things to happen; that this was a way to get the early gold rushers (19th century) into this fury (Note: this is the way I perceived it being said). Myers' final quote was that congress may take up the matter later on this yr.

Does this look like someone else working on an future agenda here?
US government may be getting a feeling we've got a lot happening out west? Others looking to squash us, get a piece?

I'd think the existing dirts w/at least permits would have nothing to worry about (maybe a grandfather clause?).

Many clips on CNBC are repeated for several times a day and sometimes over a couple days. This was the first time I saw it today, but I've been in and out all day.

Would need to see/tape this segment again to get full gist of it.

Keep in mind all, this was just my perception of this clip.

Long and holding NAXOF, IPMCF, CHIP, MXAM, MRHI and USPS.

GO DIRTS!!!
