David: Do you think the VAR model as practiced in the past three years, will change (or needs to change) as a result of the industry change in technology and expected growth of the Business Enterprise market?

I know the VAR's will follow the money but what from your perspective has worked well? The IBM way...The HWP way or the Microsoft Way...or the current way?

How would you feel (as a former VAR) to receive (1) a fixed fee for services and (2) a bonus from corporate 'vendor' client sales and (3) a guarantee of long term client fee service contracts?

This is my simple view as an outsider looking in. What exactly would be the best combination?? I believe Frankenburg is working on some new approach.....I would assume he would base any change on his previous experience on what worked at HWP.

This is the real question going forward...
