Canadian markets are not free. If we want to see our dollar trade at a reasonable level our politicians must free the people. Canadians must put 20% of their pension savings into Canadian assets, this is bull, why should the gov, decide where individuals should invest. Here in southern ontario, doctors are scarce. The government has decided that there are too many and the province can't afford them, so any doctor setting up a new practice here must pay an extra 30% of their pay to the gov. The effect is that there are not enough doctors. This is bull let the people decide what they will pay for. The government decides what medical procedures will be paid for and what will not. This is bull let the people decide what they will pay for. Pensions same deal, the gov decides who will get how much pension, regardless of how much they decide to pay. This is bull, let the people decide what they will pay for. The real kick in the face is that those things a gov should pay for, they are sneaking out, such as roads! The solution to Canada's problems a simple, get rid of medicare, get rid of gov, pensions, get rid of socialist policies, it's all bull, let the people decide what they will pay for. There is so much decision making, that the gov has taken from the people it's pathetic. The morons even prevented the bank mergers. What nonsense, how did we ever get into this mess, and how do we get out. Winspear is approaching a juncture, where the shareholders, and the management, will have to plead to the stupid gov, to decide our future. Is the stupid gov really capable of deciding Winspears future? I doubt it. I am not looking forward to the gov's medling in the affairs of our company, yet we have to deal with it. If the gov, truly had the peoples best interest in mind, fine, but their concern is maximizing the revenue they collect. Empower the people, put the politicians back to working for the people, not the other way around. I heard a politician on the radio saying that their studies have shown that if they give $100 back to the people in taxes they do not receive an extra hundred in revenues due to job creation, they receive less. So for every $100 dollars in tax relief, they get less than $100 back from new jobs, therefore, it is not worth giving the tax relief. This clearly demonstrates their objective, maximize their revenue and to hell with the people! It doesn't matter what party they guy is from, there is no difference between them. As long as this is the attitude of our politicians, we won't be free, and we won't be able to compete.
