They are losing money mainly because of the big expense of ATM which
is a nascent technology and also many of their old product lines
carry low margins like modems, muxes. so their growth is based on
ATM taking off and generating higher margins.

NN and FORE have more higher margin stuff but it still hasnt prevented both from getting near 52 weeklows. the whole sector is depressed right now. look at NWK which has a P/E of 12 ...this was at
20 a few weeks ago.
