That's an interesting topic to bring up. I've only been out of high school for just a little over 10 years now, and what I noticed prior to graduating was that violence was on a steady increase within the schools. Moreover, the fights were growing increasingly more violent and the lack of respect for order and authority within the school was decreasing. When I listened to any of my parents' or grandparents' stories, yes, there were fights, but they never seemed as violent as what I was witnessing during my school years. Was this just a sudden surge of violence that was quickly calmed within a decade? What's your take on Columbine, and all the mimic attempts that followed? This seems far more violent than the stories I was told and the events I witnessed.
Doesn't seem very Ghandi-inspired to me.
