If Diamonds Don't Do It, What Does?

A while back, I asked the thread a question about stratified or layered deposits versus kimberlite findings. Three of four of you responded very considerately. The dynamics of the scene were nicely illustrated. It was a friendly and enjoyable set of exchanges.

Well, I have another question that is expressed above.

1) During the past year or two, it was agreed on this thread that 'kims aren't enough, the market needs to see diamonds.' (This had to do with ACA and MEO reports that soon fizzled in market response.)

2) TWG, whose website I find more friendly than MMU's in its being less 'frame-y,' has pictures of a shotglass or thimble full of pretty stones. These are front page on their site.

3) TWG's stock goes from a recent-time low of $.12 to over $.60 - on finding the diamonds.

4) Then it sags back to the low $.40's. This is a 3-4 times differential.

I scratch my head. There are the diamonds, but the markets seems to give a weak nod of its head.

I thought the multiples in this market were much much greater.

Will you, or anyone, tell me what it is I am missing - what is causing me to scratch my head?

I do not consider this question an imposition. Nobody is being forced to offer a response. I am just Curious George.
