Ever notice when a stock is down, at least the hi-tech stocks here, people say, in 12-18 months this stock will double. They make no short term predictions. But with most of my stock/option winners I'm pretty confident the stock will be up alot in 12-18 months but even over the next 2-3 months I'm confident it will be up.

The main event seems to be Microsoft just as last year. This time Windows NT will do for SYMC (feel free to add your own personal secondary losing stock here) what Windows 95 could not do for long. But SYMC somehow might go back up just on the hype/hope like last year. I just think the risk/reward ratio is bad here for options at least. At least until NT gets close, this looks to be dead or dying money.
At this stage in the rally the initiative is back in the hands of the well known leading stocks, the INTC's, SUNW's, and MSFT of course. Incidentally I'm typing this using Explorer 3.0. Time to short NSCP.
