Just wanted to let you know that of the 24 firms that I sent my letter, only 2 have replied, so far. Viceroy sent a very nice note saying that "prudent management of hedging can be beneficial" and they had "realized over $70 million in hedge benefits over the past few years." Durban sent me an attachment detailing their current hedge. I don't know if the others will reply. Based on my almost 5 years of running a website, corporate communications is a weak point among many miners. They really need to work on getting their message out.
