well it's all relative.. you wouldn't be dancing in the streets if you've lost 80% of your portfolio in the last 2 months and almost all from large caps.. trust me... I dont care if you're up or down for the year.. if you watch 80% of your portfolio go out the door... it's a bit frustrating.. because 1) I could have stopped the bleeding by going back to pennies a long time ago and 2) by not chasing so many plays on this thread.. I got alot of helpful suggestions.. and have tried to implement them.. but I'm just working with too very little cash to do anything with really... a 1pt gain in most cases just covers my commissions.. those that do go up I dont get out in time.. anyway.. it's just something I should have done some time ago... up 400% is MUCH better than being down.. but try being up 2000% and then having to explain to the wife what happened to all the money we made this summer.. as I said before.. I now barely have enough to cover the taxes from an early withdrawal on a 401k we made and spent... so maybe I can play with $1000... but that's about it.. not enough for big caps... good luck to you all... I tried. It sure was fun while it lasted... you all sure have a very rare opportunity here with Kim... if you have the money and can get in her leads early... avg down when she does... and diversify like she does (which takes funds).. then you should all retire within a year.. God bless jim ps.. it's only money... I've got my family and that means more than anything to me ; for those that don't have kids.. I suggest you start trying soon.. it's wonderful!
