Dell's investment in Dr Koop has been discussed before on this thread. Now I read that Dell has invested in IZAP (ZapMe!) through owning preferred shares in that company which just IPO'ed a few days ago. Maybe somebody can shed some light the rationale behind that investment. Is Dell entering new grounds? Gateway has a deal with AOL. Maybe Dell will etam up with Alta Vista since it has a business relationship with CMGI via its subsidiary? best regards paul
