1999 or 2000 reported net income/cash flow does not determine an assets value. The market understands this. The internet has structurally changed the way the economy works and this is a long-term mania. The more doubters there are, the better. I am not endorsing day trading in stocks you don't truly understand. However, I think it is going to be very difficult to lose money in VIGN, YHOO, AMZN etc if you hold them for virtually any 12-mo period...

There is a hurricane (not just a wind) at their back and traditional valuation measures are based on linear growth rates while internet beneficiaries are growing at non-linear rates.

Those who refuse to embrace and buy internet beneficiaries will face secular underperformance.
