On that Infineon "Fingertip" announcement . . .

There are three possibilities:

(1) This goes on the MOT phone;
(2) The chip uses IDT algorithms, but is unrelated to MOT;
(3) This is a purely competitive model (Infineon/Siemens).

Option (1) is not possible. MOT is constructing the IDX hardware version, which is optical and not silicon. The only thing similar would be the size.

Option (2) is possible, but in the absence of an IDX or Infineon announcement on an alliance not all that likely.

Option (3) seems to me the most probable. This looks like a competing silicon product.
