Gerald, It would have been interesting if the CNBC Talking Head would have asked him if his extreme negativity also applied to AMD. I bet he would have had some lame excuse on why Y2K wouldn't hurt AMD, like they're not selling server-quality chips so there's no server business to hurt. You may really have something there. The semiconductor index (SOXX) is actually positive today, but Intel is down, probably in sympathy with IBM. AMD is up, maybe as the anti-Intel. Well, even a dog has to have its day once in a while.
