I fully agree. I expect, once it sinks in that Pronto is for real, that SBC is going to start catching hell from all perceived competitors that will try to get the government involved in slowing down their plans. A lot like the whirlywind of activity that started when AT&T fired the first broadband cable shot.

But as in the AT&T case, the FCC appears to be pushing SBC to do exactly what Pronto is supposed to do. So maybe it'll be a case of local roadblocks being thrown up as in the AT&T case?

I just don't know what is going to happen, but I do know it won't go smoothly. But those may present buying opps <G> for investors.
