I've got my DSL! Guy just left. Took 30 minutes for him to change some wiring. Another 15 for me to config the NIC. And I am up and running. Feels odd to be connected without having to dial. Feels kind of naked and exposed. <g> I am concerned a bit about security. I am curious about my speeds. Does anyone remember those sites where you can test your Up/Down speeds. GTE says they are suppoed to be 768 down and 256 up. $49.95 a month. So far so good. Thanks, jb
