The largest thing that has happened to tungsten over the last number of months is that the Chinese government (the world's largest supply of cheap tungsten) has announced policy changes regarding tungsten sales. The government has decided to cut back on the sale of raw tungsten, to initiate secondary production of goods using tungsten. This announcement has caused the price of tungsten to climb, to a level today that would make North American Tungsten's Mac Tung property a profitable venture once again. In conjunction with that, if the technology that NTC purchased from the US Military sometime ago proves itself to be capable of working on a large scale basis, they could dramatically drop their cost of tungsten production. This would allow them much greater profitability in the short term, and if the technology works on other raw materials the technology could be sold on a much larger basis.

Talk to Ron Shenton at NTC(IR)he can give you a lot more info.
