fwiw, I think sentiment analysis is mass psychology.
fwiw, I think the most important thing for a trader to know is not, "the market" but, "himself".
fwiw, I think the most important thing for an investor to understand is: the structure of the major market indices (including global market indices), the sector indices, their components and bellwethers.
in my experience, T/A breaks down at extreme lows and highs; when people lose themselves, follow herd instincts.
in my experience, F/A breaks down w.r.t. investor sentiment; when people forget about "the company", and think about "the stock".
in my experience, the "entry point" is ultimately irrelevant; it is the "exit point" that separates the real men from the boys in this game.
