From the original newsrelease for carsandhotels.com: "Previous to our own site, we have been electronically distributing our hotel and car rental product exclusively through the megatravel sites such as, Microsoft's Expedia (www.expedia.com), Travelocity (www.travelocity.com), Worldres (www.placestostay.com) and Leisure Planet (www.leisureplanet.com). Now our entrance into e-commerce is complete with the launching of CarsandHotels.com," I don't own any of this, and from what I've seen so far it's going to have to be an awfully cheap buy before I do - well below what it's selling for now. The obvious question to me is why should I bother to go to carsandhotels.com when I can simply deal with any of the above, well-established travel services?? I'm not saying that this is a fly-by-night, ring4, but I just don't seem to see the inherent value in it that you do...am I missing something?
