Not fearful of Y2K for any reason. Nor do I think a recession is close.

You always have to worry about interest rates on a valuation basis v. stocks. With interest rates rising, and Mr. Greenspan talking about slowing the economy by lowering folks portfolio value, eventually the public might get the idea that the best risk/reward is in bonds.

However, I'll still place my bet on technology stocks. I think that the technology changes over the last 10 years are the beginning, with a lot more changes coming, which means wealth will be created.

A couple more tame CPI's, maybe Mr. Greenspan will go back in his shell.
