Sam - There is no real reason to believe that the Canadian and American dollars should be worth the same amount. People just think that they should be because they are both called dollars. If our currency was the pound or ruble or something else nobody would think that it was a problem. Also if a miracle occured and the Canadian dollar was worth an American dollar tomorrow it would be devastating to our economy. As for the Yankees buying up our land go talk to the people in New York or Florida and they'll make the same complaint about Canadians. I'm not trying to start a fight or anything, it's just my opinion.
